freeWAVE FEVER
El Medano on the southen coast of Tenerife has been a regular spot on our World Tour. It’s a great winter escape offering a mix of Freeride and Freewave conditions to give your windsurfing a boost.
Traveling to the Canaries mid-winter is one of the only ‘close options’ to Europe for some winter sun and wind. We’ve been coming here for over 25 years! Whilst it can be bit hit and miss compared to the super strong summer winds, it’s provided us with some great windsurfing and also ways plenty of activity.
Despite less than perfect conditions this year we had three days of wind including some West wind. Here’s a taster of what we got up to.
