What a week, 8-8 days of wind & waves – simply stunning conditions.
Whether it’s a mega mission, seeking a much needed marginal gain or overcoming doubts or challenges – We help everyone and like to celebrate those who put in that extra determination and effort during the week.
Everyone in the group performed and progressed so well, but the general consensus, admiration and Top Dog award went to Geoff Skrone – Improved gybing, sailing multi fin boards and really taking on Manawa for the first time ever!

1st TIME WAVES
Manawa
Geoff wasn’t satisfied with just ramping up his short board skills in the lagoon. Oh no, he ‘wanted waves too’. So we worked it up from ‘Comfy Pillows’ (a small easy reform wave) then onto ‘Little Reef’ (A ‘larger’ wave breaking on the lagoon reef. And then ventured out to the big one, ‘MANAWA’….. 1.5km away on an outer reef.
Manawa needs a strategy and respect….Well sailed Geoff!
