Freewave adventure
After our Daymer sessions, we always head further west to check out the Northern and Southern beaches of West Cornwall. If the forecast suits Gwithian we head North, if it favours the south we head to Marazion.
Here’s what we got up to in Sept 2023…
With an Indian summer blending into September, we didn’t get the expected conditions, so we ended up with a mix of Windsurfing, Foiling, Winging SUPing, bases ourselves at Marazion and then a bonus session back at Daymer on the way home.
Thanks to everyone who joined us and for making the most of the conditions and using a whole range of kit.

As part of the adventure we stay at Gwel an Mor luxury lodges, which acts as a great base, with additional swimming pool, gym, pool, sauna and Terrace restaurant to recharge and refuel.
It’s a great Windwise HQ and the lodges are great for video debrief team talks and making it a really social experience off the water.
ACTIVITIES
This trip goes ahead regardless of conditions and we add in extra activities to suit the conditions.
So whilst we focus on windsurfing, it’s common to add in Foiling, winging, WindSUP, E-biking, Surfing and some truly great gastro feasts and the obligatory Cornish pasties.
