We’ve been coming to FeelViana end of May-early June for a number of years and have always be treated with some great windsurfing conditions. However, this year, we were met with a heat wave in Northern Europe and a high pressure over Portugal. This killed off the thermal and we had some very unpredictable weather.

When the wind is in, you’ll get starboard ‘UK’ tack and great fun jumping and wave riding conditions. This year the wind only blew on a few occasions and we had to grab each opportunity.
It was really tricky to get out , so really well done to those who pushed through the wave barrier(s).

Our FeelViana adventure is done in a slightly more relaxed fashion to other clinics. The wind never comes up before lunch time so we try to do other sports.

When there is very little wind, it is not easy getting out. So we used a combination of larger Freewave boards and WindSUP’s.
