If the swell is up the wid is cross shore so it’s super easy to get out through waves, that never get too big. If you can sail south coast, you can sail here!

WHAT WE LEARNT
Freeride Skills
As part of the course, we covered a whole range of skills – Early planing in and out of the straps. Waterstart in the straps, getting out through surf. Keeping upwind on short boards. Fast downwind gybes and survival upwind gybes. Fast Warrior tacks and all components of gybing – all in one location!
Wave Skills
We covered getting out through surf, wave selection, catching and riding waves, plus jumping, control and looping tips.
