Every year we head to Cornwall to run our West Country Windwise Freeride, Freewave and Wave sailing clinic adventures and courses.
Whether it’s Free ride focused in Daymer Bay or pushing to find waves in Gwithian or Marazion, our Windwise clinic experiences are the ideal way to windsurf in Cornwall, make progressget location guiding, personalized Windwise coaching, specialist kit advice and Severne demo gear. A week before the trip, the forecast was for cold wet ENE. Yet with Cornwall, you just have to be in it to win it as the weather can change very quickly. As out happened, the weather gods were on our side and really delivered for our Daymer Adventure.
It kicked off with some initial planning runs on salon kit and then Skills & Drills. But as the trip went on, we experienced a whole range of planing conditions including, glorious sunshine, fresh Northerlies and maxed out Freewave Dyno day on 4.2-4.7m rigs!
You’ve got to know, understand and respect the tides at Daymer. So we help you to sail at the best times and make the most of this wonderful West Country windsurfing spot.

HEADING FURTHER WEST
For our second Freewave session we were due to head further West, but conditions dictated that we stayed in Daymer for a day longer.
We were glad we did as we scored a stunning day with a really punchy wind, small waves and everything we needed to fire up the Freewave kit. After that we shifted to Marazion for a gentle westerly for some SUP Skills, Foiling and a blast of slalom.
