So good to see everyone working hard, training the Skills & Drills and as ever we celebrate some stand out efforts, achievements and basically great people!

Andy Johnson
Andy arrived as a self taught early improver, beach starting on a 140L board.
He was super dedicated, really determined and showed some real grit.
We worked on his stance, foot-strap method, better blasting control and he managed to drop 40L in board size in a week!
We used our Skills Training System and some very specific exercises to help Andy discover what actually works.
Explain how easy it is to ‘think’ you’re doing something, but you’re simply not exaggerating it enough.
He will forever hear – “Get lower and flex that rear leg!”

Improve Stance & Harnessing
Turned beach starts into footstrap waterstarts
Started to make non-planing short board gybes
Shifted from a 135L Freeride board to 95L Freewave
All in a week – Well done Andy.
