As promised, we’re running more wave orientated venues and courses in 2010. Moulay offers a real adventure and awesome conditions for dedicated windsurfers. In July the prevailing conditions favour smaller sails and waveboards.
Kit - You'll be using sub 100L boards, and sails below 5.7 square metres.
Wind - July is one of their best months. I'ts warm, windy, and with manageable waves to play on.
Who’s it for - If you want to learn how to jump, ride waves or crack that loop, this course is designed for you! You must be able to waterstart and blast comfortably on a sub 100L board.
Our Freewave courses choose locations that are perfect to refine your existing short board skills, learn gybe variations, and be guided and encouraged into other areas of the sport. Moulay is a fantastic location to learn or develop your jumping, waveriding and if you want, looping skills.
Travel - 4 hour flight!
Hotel - The Maison Blanche Hotel is right next to the Fanatic Board centre and the windsurfing spot. A simple, clean and very convenient hotel, it works as a great base for our Freewave course. Perfect for relaxing after sailing, watching the days video highlights and recharging your batteries for the next fantastic day on the water.
We are also only 15-20 minutes taxi to Essaouira, so it is possible to check out other sailing locations and other cultural highlights.
