Southport hosts the RYA Northern Instructor Conference 20th March 2010.
SB made the 300 mile journey north to Southport to run a 'skills and drill' session with a great group of very enthusiastic RYA Instructors.
Braving the 30 degree heat, blazing sun and tropical waters, the afternoon session was a swirl of 'upwind downwinders', 'clew first beach starts' and 'sail 360's' to illustrate the value of Vision, Counter Balance and many other windsurfing principles.
The RYA also announced the success of their Fastfwd Intermediate coaching system (written by SB) with a substantial increase in take-up of Intermediate windsurfing courses in 2009.
So a big thank you to everyone who attended this very successful conference. Have a great season in 2010!
