We've just had three great weeks in Mauritius with excellent wind and fantastic waves!
We've run two Freewave courses in this wonderful paradise island that is Mauritius, surrounded by the gorgeous Indian Ocean. We've had great wind, fantastic waves, and we have to mention some fantastic sessions we've had out on the Little Reef, Manawa, and in the bay. The first course was pretty usual for Mauritius with a mix of conditions. The second course the weather wasn't as bright and sunny, but did it blow! We had many days on 4.5m sails and large waves on the reef. we had to put up with some rain, but the on water sessions really made for exciting and enlightening windsurfing!
On one day we also had time to swim with dolphins and whales in the morning, then had wind and half mast high waves on little reef, which everyone can now sail out through, jump over and ride in on! Great sailing!
