Q. Who are the courses for?
A. Whether you’re looking to build confidence or the skills to master planing or strong winds, smaller boards or crack crucial aspects of the sport, we have a course and the dedication to assist your goals. It could be more effective blasting, faster tacks, making your first corner, really cranking those gybes or progressing through feasible freestyle - We’ve coached and run courses for virtually every aspect of the sport. We welcome singles, couples, small groups and of course any non-windsurfing partners or friends. Whether your coming on your own or have a bunch of mates who want a great time, just tell us what you’re looking to learn and leave the rest to us!
Q. What level do I need to be?
A. We always seek to match your ability and aspirations to suit the location and course level. During the booking process you can ensure you find the right course for your level. Remember we’re here to assist you! Here are the levels, but if you’re still not sure then just ask!
Faststart: For beginners and those sorting out the very basics a chance to be part of the Windwise experience and get into the sport with one of our training Windwise coaches. (Available in Alacati and special summer courses in the UK)
Essentials Course – ‘The framework for early to advanced intermediates progression’
Increase your confidence, control and really get to grips with windsurfing. Effortless harnessing - Swift footstraps - Early Planing– Enhance your stance range - Blasting Control - Quick waterstarts and of course gybing.
Advance Course – ‘Break that plateau, gybing and beyond’.
Already blasting in the straps, waterstarting and making the odd gybe but want to move things on? The ‘Advance’ course offers; Super early planing – Smaller Boards - Snappier Gybes - Quicker Tacks – High Wind Control – Jumps – Feasible Freestyle and all the secrets to get more from your windsurfing.
